A Florida man has been charged with five federal crimes in connection with a string of suspicious packages with possible explosive devices that targeted Democratic public figures. SWAT teams were called to the scene.

The probe came one day after a parcel at an Atlanta post office was investigated by the FBI in connection with the more than a dozen packaged bombs that were sent around the country over the past week. That package was addressed to CNN and was similar to the 14 others that have been sent to prominent Democrats and CNN’s New York office, the FBI said.

Atlanta police also investigated a suspicious package at the Atlanta airport Sunday. That was deemed to be harmless after crews found it contained two flashlights and a weather radio.
